It is true that you can feel music. Long after the concert is over, you can feel the bass pumping through your system. The high that is left is probably better than anything else. Like Bob Marley aptly said “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”

Keeping this in mind, MUSIC MATTERS, a group of fellow music enthusiasts and listeners have taken the initiative to revive the declining live noncommercial music in Dehradun. Their focus was also to bring together local musicians and artists from Dehradun, to perform on one single stage.

Their first event brought together a mix genres of Sufi to Blues to Rock on stage, on 20th January, 2018. The venue, a small village called Bhagwantpur, in Purkul.

The bands, BHAIRAVAS, EUNOIA, CARDAMOM & SHARVANASHAM performed that evening and a crowd of more than 350 music lovers of Dehradun went back fully contended, pleased and wanting more.

                                        SEASON -2

Continuing their effort to bring together local talents on a single stage, their next event on 6th of October 2018 at the same venue got– ‘Advika’ ( Sufi ), ‘Cash & Russel’ ( Country), 2 pegs down ( Rock ) and ‘DehraDream’ ( Hard Rock ) on stage.
